“32 is the percentage of bread, that’s beeing wasted in Great Britain when it’s still eatable.” – Yes. We know a lot of numbers. In times of ecological change, we know about plastic and petrol pollution, food waste and climate change. But do we really know, with our hands, our fingers and our senses?
This little project visualizes the number of wasted bread in an abstract way, whereas the material bread itself is very complex and emotional. We see, feel and smell what happens to bread, when we let time take it over. Between beauty and disgust.
